// FM at the Nostalgia Drags: Night time Hot Rod racing.

The Shannons Nostalgia Drag Racing Series took place at Heathcote Raceway last month. Fuel Magazine was there through the afternoon and night to grab some historic rubber-burning action.
The result was alot of photos, alot of racing, and more than plenty of tyre smoke keeping the crowds enthusiastic for more.
For a full photograpic feature of the event, keep an eye out for the next issue of Fuel Magazine, due next month, and head over to Crank and Piston for a few more photos.

FM photography shoots 'Ultra VW' cover feature.
Like or loathe the idea, this truck has a big presence in the Victorian Hot Rod scene. The owner, Scott Fisk, takes 'The Drug Smuggler' to any event he can and it never fails to grab the attention of the crowds wherever they go.
I was lucky enough to shoot a cover feature for the UK based Ultra VW magazine for the January '09 issue.
Full feature and more photos of this awesome vehicle appearing in a future issue of Fuel Magazine.
Stay tuned.

75th Anniversary of the 1932 Ford. September 07.
This show was a couple of years ago now, but for me it was significant as it was the first major Hot Rod show at which I started to take a lot of photographs.
The next installment is coming up this September in the form of the 75th Anniversary of the 33/34 Ford, so watch this space and a full feature in a future issue of Fuel Magazine.
There is an album of photos HERE.

Kustom Nats coverage '08
I've been sifting through some old photos from the last couple of years, and thought I'd share the highlights from The Kustom National Hot Rod Show way back in January 2008.
Here are a few of my favourites, but for the full set head over to the PHOTO GALLERY and take a look around.

nearly there
Dear Fuel fans,
Finally, after much toing and froing, issue 1 is running through the printing rolls. Completion is estimated to be next weekend, at which point the order page will be up and running.
Until then, why not tell your friends about the fuel facebook page (go for it - look us up!) or the website, and drum up the interest?
Fuel does not advertise, so word of mouth is the key!
Cheers.
